SUMMARY OF CHESS LIFE
Our pub has been home to Riga Chess Club since it’s inception in 2017.
Chess club has gained some following among local players and is apreciated by many visitors to Riga.
Besides it’s social and entertainment aims it holds number of regular events and FIDE rated tournamets.

We play chess regularly in the evenings, Sunday to Thursday.
(Friday ans Saturdays may be challanging due to increased visitors to the pub)
There are about 15 chess sets and clocks available on the site.
We aim to have one FIDE rated tournament (with ELO up to 1900) and one Open tournament each month.
Tournament calendar for 2025 will be published in December, 2024.
